I believe every business person or company has the right to earn a profit. I have been fortunate to have been able to work hard to create from scratch two businesses and I lost both fortunes due to being dependent on something or someone.

If that was not enough, my wife decided she had enough of living day to day and barely surviving. I even had my electric cut off once. She became very frustrated, angry, confused and she ended up leaving me and moved in with her relatives.

I had too much silly ego and I kept my financial disaster a secret from everyone. So, there I was – alone and broke. I can’t blame her – I was the man and it was up to me to protect and provide for her.

I felt like a failure. I trusted the wrong people and accidentally drove our lives into a ditch. She needed time away to think about her life.

I had just enough money to barely survive – My funds got so low I had to move to a small rented room. I slept on an air mattress. I had two lawn chairs, a small folding card table and a borrowed laptop. That was it!

Naturally, most of the big product launch Gurus are in total communication with each other and usually schedule their product launches on dates that won’t overlap their buddy’s product launch. Some of these guys are part of a private “buddy” club that dominates a large part of the Internet Marketing community.

They are very careful about scheduling product launches as NOT to step on each other’s toes. Then in between their product launches they promote other company products for big commissions.

It’s beneficial because they can promote their product plus promote each other’s product using their own list; thus suck even more money from the flock. Make sense? They systematically suck as much cash from the FLOCK as humanly possible and on a consistent basis. Are you mad yet?

All of these marketing campaigns are not random events – it’s all carefully planned and choreographed as much as possible.

If you’ve not been living in a cave, then you’ve obviously noticed what the “Gurus” and their followers are calling such events; PRODUCT LAUNCHES, right? This method the Gurus (Hogs) use is really not a new trick – it’s been around for years in other aspects of business.

This is how it works. An alliance of several “Gurus” are formed – all with massive lists. These massive lists will hold millions of serious buyers of Internet Marketing products. In certain circles this would be called an industry MONOPOLY – and it could be deemed as unfair, unethical and possibly illegal.

Ever wonder why most of the large launch products (courses) are priced the same? Usually about $1,997. Could this be price fixing? hmmmm … let’s not think evil thoughts here. (smile) Magical, huh? Coincidental?

No matter what you think . . . it is quite ingenious, don’t you think?

Here’s a quote from one marketer who has struggled. “Over the last couple years I’ve heard from alot of people asking… ”How can I get in on one of these huge launches as an affiliate and get my slice of the pie?”

The truth is, unless you are a proven affiliate marketer or know people who know people, you’re often left out of the action.

Why?

Well, partly because lots of gurus like to keep all the action “in-house”. They like to share the profits with their inner circles, friends, etc.

Long story short.  Don’t depend on the same “Gurus” who sold you their products – to share with YOU a portion of the big profit pie.

I don’t have the power to stop the gravy train for the HOGS – and I wouldn’t want to, but I can at least warn people before they fall prey to their traps. Most of these HOGS quickly gouge unsuspecting prospects because they do not know how long the people (sheep) will buy into their Bull Crap.

So, their concept is; Strike fast and strike often – Strike while the iron is HOT!! Have you noticed all the product launches within one particular Guru “buddy” club? Every 3rd or 4th week another Guru or some HOG launches a new product?

Yep! Strike fast and strike often!

If the HOGS are ethical and charged fair prices they can still live in their Mansions and drive the luxury cars they all brag about. Have you seen these hogs show off with pictures of their massive homes and cars? These hogs are ego maniacs!

Don’t buy the sales pitch that you will earn 100 times the outrageous price the Gurus charges for his course or IM materials.

These HOGS are obviously trying to tap your greed while making you “think” they cornered the market on a particular wealth secret. Yeah, they might have a few secrets under their belt, but not all. Keep reading – I’ll explain exactly what I’m saying.

Drooling Hogs . . .

These sloppy selfish HOGS are showing off their fancy houses, fancy sport cars and their big fancy lifestyle that YOU helped pay for – how do you feel about that? Some will even show off their BANK ACCOUNT statements. Here’s the deal – smart wealthy people seldom show off their houses or any fancy asset.

Smart wealthy people simply do not have to impress anyone. Plus it’s just not safe to do it.

The key is to create and utilize the power of a trusted inner circle of friends who help each other. However, they never tell you that … do they?

Most of the Gurus at the concert – I mean seminar, are all rich or they act like it – the audience members are dreaming of a wealthy online business, just like their favorite Guru. And their favorite Guru is always quick to say it can happen to you too!!

Most of the audience (flock) had to beg, borrow and probably steal to get an airline ticket and hotel room plus they were gouged heavily for a “can’t live without” seminar ticket!

While at the seminar, the excited marketers stand in line and rack up more debt on their credit cards to buy even more of the “can’t succeed without” Guru products.

There are usually several so-called Gurus and they all share in the flock’s CASH. Don’t Believe Those “Phony” Powerfully Placed Testimonials That You Either Read or See On Video . . . I Call It “Show and Tell” – Seriously, How Stupid Do They Really Think We Are?

The truth is- testimonials work. They increase conversions like crazy. Did you know that those testimonials are usually pre-written by the author of the product for the “so-called satisfied end user”? This way the testimonial person does not need to review the product or take time to write a testimonial – it’s just copy and paste.

Marketers are usually very lazy!

The person is happy to send in his testimonial (written by the owner of the product) because his/her website link is added at the end of the testimonial as part of the trade-out or they are bribed with a FREE product.

Sometimes the website owner simply calls up several buddies who owe him a favor and the buddies quickly rush out an earth shattering testimonial. I realize the big dogs will hate me saying this… but most testimonials are a joke. By the way, I hear this is not illegal to do.

Why Do Most of the Big Dog Internet Marketers Have “Closed Affiliate Programs”? Why Won’t They Allow Outsiders To Sell Their Products?

Have you noticed that most of their big affiliate product “launch” programs are by invitation ONLY! Their product launches and for certain affiliates are usually closed others. Why? The short answer is; they keep all the profits among themselves. Plus they do not want the public to learn their affiliate marketing tactics.

Unless you can prove to have a massive list, then you WON’T get inside their little club. If you don’t have a good size list, then it’s simply not worth it for them to reveal their secret affiliate selling insider launch strategies. Not all so-called Gurus have closed groups but many will usually have a qualification.

It really is NO mystery as to why some product launches and others make ONE million or several Million in very few days. I don’t want to name any names however, I could name quite a few and maybe you can too.

This is an almost actual quote of one rich Guru talking about another rich Guru. “I mean, it’s no secret that _____ and I are very good friends. We help each other out all the time … trading ideas and copy back and forth.” (I left the guru’s name out) What does that tell you?

Believe me, there is nothing wrong with being friends and business associates ….but how would you like to be buddies with the rich Gurus and get FREE advice any time you wanted instead of having to paying out the A$$ for it?

These guys actually brag about who can earn more money on a launch than the other one!!!! Who do you think pays for these products? …. it sure isn’t all their rich Guru buddies or super affiliates – they usually get their expensive product or course for FREE.

There is nothing wrong with continuity programs that are upfront and fully explain to people what they are getting and how often. Hogs sometimes use fine print that gives them permission to draft your bank account more than once. Be careful and read every detail of their sales letters. The Hogs are using forced continuity, hidden continuity, micro-continuity in order to STEAL your money. Snort! Snort! Snort!

The way they steal from you is this; the Hog uses deceptive practices to get customers to unknowingly agree to pay monthly and annual fees after making a single product purchase. People believe they are buying an affordable and inexpensive single product but are bamboozled into a monthly or annual membership or continuity program. Beware!!!

I’ve seen, researched or met nearly all of the Rich Gurus and Hogs at one time or another and this is what I discovered…

Believe it or not . . . I’ve seen some of them come and go. Some have retired and some have flat worked themselves to death. Some conned enough people that eventually it tarnished their reputation and they were financially forced to drop from the IM industry.

I’ve also listened to many of them brag in back rooms about their incomes and toys they’ve purchased. I also learned most of the Gurus are not really that smart, but they all had one thing in common – EACH OTHER. We’ll talk about this later . . . .

Many of them are surrounded by other smart people and they have enough money to outsource a lot of “grunt” work or delegate projects to other people within their staff or out of the country.

Most rich GURUS will usually have a staff of 10 to 100 people – (who are paid very well) they perform an enormous amount of detail work, advertising, grunt work and lots of testing. Test, Test, Test and it’s all very costly.

Answer: They sell it to you for some ridiculous price! (Usually he sells it because he has discovered another system that works better.)

Now, some so-called Gurus (hogs) will use a system for just a few weeks or a month, then they rush out and sell the system online without testing it for a lengthy tested proven time period.

Unsuspecting customers have actually bought a pig-in-a-poke. Sometimes the system will not work on a consistent basis. I must say – not all are guilty of this.

Are you expecting a million dollar pay day soon? Probably NOT!

Here’s an uplifting secret. You can still succeed! It is not all doom and gloom. Internet Marketing is a great way to earn a living. I think it’s fabulous. You still have a chance to earn a great living utilizing the Internet and you can do it honestly and ethically. I’m not a guru, not an expert, however, I know more than most . . .I will keep “Spying” and sharing anything of value with my private inner circle.

Here’s something you probably may not realize about Guru selling tactics.  They tap your greed by telling you to BUY now because it’s heavily discounted – plus “he” has only 500 copies.  Once they are gone – then that’s it.  No more!  (GIGGLE!)  What a joke!  How can there be 500 copies of an e-book?  It’s a digital product!!!  That’s just plain silly.   I promise – if he sells 501 e-books he’ll keep selling until he can’t sell anymore.  How would you know?
Now, I can almost guarantee possibly you and others you know have actually bought because of this one little tactic, right?

You Are Being Bamboozled In Many Ways!

Do you really want to give a guy, like this, your hard earn money? Hoggish seminars are just another method of transferring your CASH into their bank. Period!

Most seminar promoters suck the cash from desperate people who dream of building an online business to feed their families. You have been given WRONG information at the highest level and it can be financially crippling.

Find a “No Pitch Zone” seminar and you’re a lucky guy! For the most part; seminars have turned into one big EXPENSIVE social event or some glamorous “Gurus Bash” and if you go there thinking something will happen to make a big difference in your business – then usually you’re going to be HIGHLY disappointed.

Most people go to expensive seminars, sit by themselves “act” important, then go home empty handed unless they buy more of the “Guru’s” products. I give my private Inner circle of friends a review of seminars and all the secrets I can gather from the private behind the scene mixers.

The Gurus know exactly what I’m talking about . . most people do not receive these “hidden” secrets.

Most seminars are NOTHING but “Pitch Fests” .

Nothing worse than to go to an expensive seminar and sit there for hours painfully watching one “Guru” after another pitch his new product to the audience. Sometimes they get a little more clever . . . listen up!

They slip in a little marketing information to try to dazzle you, actually it’s a tease. They then slowly turn it into a pitch for their new product or an past product with a bonus – naturally, they always add the ole SCARCITY routine. (only a certain amount will be sold at this price.) The attendees seldom receive more than $5 worth of valuable content from any of the Gurus while attending a seminar.

If any Guru actually provides any real information it is usually a big surprise and they expect a standing ovation! If they actually do provide you with useful information they often expect you to praise and shower them with adulation. It’s absolutely NUTS!

If you’ve been to one of these high priced seminars, then you already know what I mean.

It’s all a big tease to up-sell you to buy more products. After all, you just spent anywhere from $1,000, $5,000 to $10,000 for your seat – don’t you expect $1,000 to $10,000 of knowledge or content in return? Good Luck!

If you received a free ticket, then usually you paid for a high priced course or the promoters have a secret plan to separate you from your cash at the seminar. Beware of IM promoters who bare gifts.

Don’t forget, air fare, hotel rooms, cabs and food is not FREE. This stuff is very costly – so it’s not really FREE is it?

Most marketers seldom go to more than one seminar unless they are a Guru Groupie ( believe me they do exist) or a super affiliate. Most super duper affiliates usually don’t pay for tickets.

Most Guru Groupies go to seminars just so they can “lie” or exaggerate to each other about their untrue accomplishments. It’s actually hideous to watch these wannabes or the “Guru Groupies” lie and struggle to get their own piece of the sun. No offense if you happen to be one of these people. (smile)

Naturally, the promoters always try to convince you to buy a pricy seminar ticket, not because of the speakers (huskers) but because of all the so-called networking and the right people you’ll meet while you’re there . . . yeah, right!!

That is horse pucky! The promoters conjured up this story because they were getting a bad rap for selling tickets for nothing but “Pitch Fests”.

Most of the people who buy tickets to Internet Marketing seminars are either unsuccessful or have not even taken the first step in starting an online business. Only a small hand full of ticket holders are actually full time Internet Marketers.

Are these the type of people you want to team-up with? Don’t get me wrong . . . these are not bad people, but this is business – not a church function. It’s important to meet and associate with those who know more than you so you can excel faster and easier, right? Work smart! You should be seeking a mentor you can someday call a friend, so you can utilize each other’s strengths.

You have been bamboozled! Seminars usually will not bring anywhere the knowledge or connections you need to succeed. Most seminar ticket holders seldom meet the right person who has the skills to inspire, assist or help them achieve their dreams over night.

Trusting relationships takes a great deal of time and effort. It usually never happens during a weekend “pitch fest” in some strange city.

Online Videos are turning these Gurus into Internet celebrities. Unless you just want to see your favorite “Guru” live in person, get his autograph and hear him brag about his monthly income, tell a few jokes and a sales pitch, then you’re usually wasting your money, your time and all the BLING you spent on travel, hotel, tips and food.

Do you enjoy watching adult people sucking up to each other desperately trying to find a JV partner? It’s a pathetic site to watch. Especially, when you over hear the other guy say “hmmmm that’s really not my thing pal – I think I’ll pass on that.”

Do you ever get invited to attend a so-called FREE seminar?

Seldom, right? Well, I’ve been invited a few times, but is it really free to go? Let’s see how really “Free” it is:

• The air fare is usually about $250 or more roundtrip.
• The hotel room: minimum of three nights-about $100 or more per night. ($300)
• At least two or three cheap daily restaurant meals.($30 minimum per day = $90)
• Cab fare. (about $30).
• Tips: ($20)
• Misc: ($25)

*So, how much does this so-called FREE seminar actually cost you? $715?!! And I believe this is being quite conservative. And what if you had to pay for an outrageously priced seminar ticket on top of your other expenses? Bottom line – OUTRAGEOUS!

Don’t Get Me Wrong . . . I Think Some Internet Marketing Seminars or Work Shops Could Be Great.

Usually seminars are nothing but pitch fests. Workshops can be more “content” based. I think most promoters are grossly over charging desperate broke marketers for their flashy “Pitch Fest” seminars.

There is no reason for the ticket price to be so high.

I think it would be great if the seminars were way less expensive so more marketers had a place to go and enjoy hanging out with other fellow internet marketers from around the world. Instead the price is usually so obscene it keeps many marketers home like hermits.

For the most part, most Internet Marketers live a very sheltered life – usually locked up all day or night in a room with their computer. They have very little contact with other marketers, other than by email, forums, etc. They need a place they can call home and associate with each other face to face. My Private Inner Circle will help make this happen. Marketers from around the world can come hang out, exchange ideas, create master-mind groups and have a fun-filled weekend.

How much “bling” do the Seminar Promoters make anyway . . .

Naturally, this is all an estimate. I understand it takes an investment to create a quality seminar, but $3,000 to $5,000 a person?!!! – come on! Let’s do some quick math. Example: 500 people X $5,000 = a cool $2,500,000. The speakers are usually FREE.

What if the seminar cost the promoters a whopping $100,000 (this includes a conference room, labor, snacks, refreshments and professional video and sound company) … that’s a cool profit of $2,400,000. Let’s say 1/2 was affiliate commissions.

That’s still well over ONE MILLION DOLLARS profit for a two day seminar. Not bad, huh? For a HOG!!! Create two seminars per year. That’s a cool TWO MILLION DOLLARS a year for just 4 days of really hard back breaking work – yeah right!

Let’s say the 10 speakers only sell $25,000 worth of products. 50/50 split with the promoter. The promoter earns an additional $125,000! This alone covers the expense of the seminar. Oh almost forgot … the promoters usually sell the video of the seminar for more BLING! or they use the video clips in order to sell-out the next juicy seminar.

After all, the speakers and the promoters often brag about earning $10,000 to $50,000 per hour while on stage JUST from the sale of their products.

It’s obvious these seminars are just another method of sucking cash from “broke-ass” marketers who are desperately trying to create an online business . . . . it’s always the speakers and the promoters who come out way ahead in this game.

Oh sure, you’ll hear a few stories of someone accidently meeting someone who assisted in the growth of their business, but for the most part; seminars are a waste of time and money for the average person who’s seeking “information and knowledge. They charge a BIG price because they can… and a lot of unsuspecting people keep paying it.

**************** No offense, but desperate people often act like sheep lead to slaughter. How do I know this . . . because I used to be one of the “sheep” and I’ve been monetarily rapped just like everyone else. I wanted success so bad and I wanted it instantly! I had not time to wait. You know what I mean?

but not anymore . . .

In order to make a seminar worthwhile, then you must do what I do and most people are not able to do it. I have a special way to get myself invited to the private mixers. Usually only the “Gurus” and close friends are there. I spend all my time asking a list of questions I need to know.

Wow! To me, this was a shocking statement. Some of the so-called gurus do not care what type of CRAP they throw at you as long as you’re desperate enough to buy it!

They try to throw you just enough “bones” or content so you won’t ask for a refund, but mostly these guys just work a numbers game. Refund requests are always expected. They realize most will buy the product, get busy and NOT even review the entire product or never review it all. Most people who intended on getting a refund forget all about it.

One Guru says, if you don’t have high refunds then you’re not selling enough product. He says – in the long run you’ll earn a lot of money by simply transferring their money into your bank account. He says – it doesn’t really matter the quality of the product.

Now, wouldn’t you call that person a HOG?

I believe you should have an honest sales page – provide a quality product at a fair price. How about you?
